Per OJ1/OTAG Letter Directive Nr 06, Reference:
A. CSC MC Nr 19, s-2000, Subject: Revised Dress Code Prescribed for all Government Officials and Employees in the Workplace.
B. Letter Order Nr 540, this Headquarters dated 12 July 2010, Subject: Detail Order of the AFP Civilian Personnel Uniform Committee.
For information and guidance of all AFP civilian employees has come to the following design of uniform.
For female Civ employees:
Monday and Special Occasions. White stripes set blouse with Floral embroidery with Bulgari Charcoal Gray pants.
Tuesday. Young Rose set blouse in truvenized collar with embroidery in parallel with Bulgari Charcoal Gray pants.
Thursday. Grey set bulgari truvenized collar blouse with Bulgari Charcoal pants.
Friday. Mustard Yellow in truvenized collar blouse with Bulgari Charcoal gray pants.
Female Utility Worker:
Monday and Special Occasion. White stripes set blouse with truvenized collar with floral embroidery.
Monday to Friday. Brown Polo shirt with pocket and AFP logo paired with denim pants.
Male Office Worker:
Monday and Special Occasion. Short sleeves polo barong, color off white fabric with frame print in blue.
Tuesday. Short sleeves polo barong, pink fabric.
Thrusday. Short sleeves polo barong jasper yellow paired with color gray pants.
Monday and Special Occasion. Short sleeves polo barong color off white paired with color gray pants.
Monday to Friday. Brown polo shirt with pocket and AFP logo paired with denim pants.
The following are exempted from wearing the herein prescribed uniform.
(A) Employees assigned in hospital, medical and dental dispensaries such as doctors, dentists, optometrists, chemists, nurses pharmacist, midwives, psychologists, social workers, dietitians, medical technologists, laboratory technicians, medical equipment technicians, nursing attendants and dental aides however, they are required to wear uniforms and nameplates, the kind and design prescribed by their respective office/unit while in the actual performance of their duties provided same one inch below the knees.
(B) Those on the family way.
(C) Those in mourning.
(D) Those regularly performing their duties and functions in the actual field operations.
No footwear other than black shoes must be worn with the uniform. Wednesday is designed as wash day for the uniform. Civilian employees are authorized to come to office in ordinary civilian clothes in accordance with reference above. The herein prescribed uniform shall be worn for a period of two years effective 16 May 2011.
In line with the Command’s objective of camaraderie, the Commander, Naval Construction Brigade approved the Annual Get Together of civilian personnel on 03 May 2013 at the same time tribute to our colleague Mr Lamberto dela Cruz who retired last 17 April 2013 and said activity was conducted at Philippine Navy Officers Clubhouse, BNS, Taguig Cith with DCNBde CAPT FRANCISCO O GABUDAO JR PN(GSC) as Guest of Honor and our Chief of Staff CAPT ROLANDO A RAMOS PN(GSC).
For the enhancement of Skills and Training of civilian personnel of the brigade the following courses were programmed by higher headquarters for CY 2013.
- Value Orientation Seminar
- Basic Personnel Course
- Basic Supervisory Course
- Advance Supervisory Course.
This training/workshop aims to develop the skills/training of civilian employees for their future advancement.
During the last Human Resource Management Officers Meeting last 19 April 2013, it was discussed about the President of the Philippines Executive Order 366 (Rationalization Plan). It is a strategic review of the operations and organizations and providing options and incentives for government employees who maybe affected by Rationalization Plan.
It was discussed in the meeting, the retirement/separation benefit under RA 8291 that ca be availed of affected personnel who opt to retire/be separated from government service, whether hired on permanent or temporary basis with appointment attested by the CSC and those hired on casual or contractual basis. RA 8291 is an Act Amending Presidential Decree No. 1146, as amended, Expanding and increasing the coverage and benefits of Government Insurance System. Instituting Reforms therein and for other purposes. If qualified, plus the following applicable incentive:
- 1/2 of the present monthly basic salary for every year of government service, for those who have rendered less than 21 years of service.
- 3/4 of the present monthly basic salary for every year of government service computed starting from the 1st year for those who have rendered 21 to less than 31 years of service.
- The present monthly basic salary for every year of government service, computed starting from the 1st year, for those who have rendered 31 years of service and above.
*PROVIDED: That for the purpose of computing the total amount of incentive that an affected personnel would received, only his/her government service up to age of 59 and a fraction thereof would be counted. Government service starting at the age of 60 would no longer be subject to the incentive herein provided.
